Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Pelican Peaks Gourmet Mixes. We make small-batch dry mixes and food products with care, and we want you to feel good about your order.

Because our products are food items, we generally cannot accept returns once an order has been delivered, shipped, opened, handled, or picked up. This policy helps protect product quality and food safety for all customers.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives or when you pick it up. If an item is damaged, incorrect, missing, or appears to have a quality issue, contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:

  • Your name
  • Order number, if available
  • A short description of the issue
  • Photos of the product, packaging, shipping box, and shipping label if the order was shipped

If the issue is confirmed, we may offer a replacement, refund, partial refund, store credit, or another reasonable solution at our discretion.

Perishable and Food Safety Return Limits

For food safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Opened food products
  • Products that have been used, tasted, mixed, baked, prepared, or partially consumed
  • Products that have been stored improperly after delivery or pickup
  • Products returned without prior approval
  • Products purchased from a market, event, or third party unless Pelican Peaks specifically agrees to review the issue

Change of Mind

We do not accept returns or refunds for change-of-mind purchases after an order has shipped, been delivered, or been picked up.

If you placed an order by mistake, contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been prepared, packed, fulfilled, shipped, or set aside for pickup, we may be able to cancel or adjust it.

Order Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be sent to pelicanpeaksgourmet@gmail.com as soon as possible after ordering.

We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order is in progress, packed, shipped, fulfilled, or ready for pickup.

If a cancellation is approved, refunds will be issued back to the original payment method when possible. Processing times depend on the payment processor and the customer's bank or card issuer.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable once an order has shipped.

If Pelican Peaks made an error with your order, or if a replacement shipment is needed because of a confirmed issue, we may cover replacement shipping at our discretion.

Local Pickup Orders

For local pickup or market handoff orders, please pick up your order at the agreed time and location.

If you cannot make the pickup time, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to reschedule, but we cannot guarantee indefinite holding of food products.

Orders that are not picked up and are not rescheduled may not be eligible for a refund.

Allergens

Our products may contain or be produced around common allergens, including wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other ingredients depending on the product. Customers are responsible for reviewing product labels, ingredient lists, and allergen statements before purchasing or consuming.

If you have a severe food allergy or dietary restriction, contact us before ordering.

Sale, Event, and Custom Orders

Market, event, custom, catering, wholesale, bulk, discounted, or special-request orders may have different refund or cancellation terms. Any custom terms should be confirmed in writing before the order is prepared.
